★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Santa Maria la Manna è una chiesa monumentale di Agerola, situata nella frazione Santa Maria, edificata intorno al XIII secolo e nel corso della sua storia fu più volte rimaneggiata.
La chiesa si apre su un ampio piazzale; la facciata è divisa in due ordini: quello inferiore è caratterizzata da tre archi a tutto sesto, di cui quello centrale viene utilizzato come ingresso, quello a destra è murato e quello a sinistra ospita un'edicola con la raffigurazione della Madonna con il bambino tra le braccia, mentre la parte superiore presenta tre finestre in corrispondenza degli archi sottostanti e un piccolo rosone: la facciata termina a timpano, sulla cui sommità è posta una croce in ferro.
L'interno è a croce latina, divisa in tre navate: sul fondo della navata centrale, in una nicchia, è posta la statua in marmo della Madonna della Manna, realizzata nel XIII secolo da Nicola di Monteforte,
The church of Santa Maria la Manna is a monumental church of Agerola, located in the hamlet of Santa Maria, built around the thirteenth century and over the course of its history it has been remodeled several times.
The church opens onto a large square; the façade is divided into two orders: the lower one is characterized by three round arches, of which the central one is used as an entrance, the one on the right is walled up and the one on the left houses a shrine with the depiction of the Madonna with the child between the arms, while the upper part has three windows in correspondence with the arches below and a small rose window: the facade ends in a tympanum, on the top of which there is an iron cross.
The interior is a Latin cross, divided into three naves: at the bottom of the central nave, in a niche, there is the marble statue of the Madonna della Manna, made in the thirteenth century by Nicola di Monteforte,
