Mio padre era uno deI festaroli che organizzavano la festa della Madonna dell'Immacolata dell' 8 Dicembre e quindi ogni anno quando ero piccolino andavo con lui in chiesa a vedere quando calavano dall'alto del suo loculo la statua della Madonna per portarla vicino ai fedeli. Mi ricordo che la pulivano con dei batuffoli di cotone bagnati con il latte e la addobbavano con gli ornamenti per prepararla alla festa e alla processione che concludeva la festa.
One of the churches in my village, to which I am very attached by many memories related to my childhood. My father was one of the revelers who organized the feast of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of December 8th and therefore every year when I was a child I went with him to church to see when the statue of the Madonna fell from his niche to bring it close to the faithful. .
