G	Giacomo Resta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Riedificata tra il 1490 e il 1550, ha pianta a croce latina e tre navate con cappelle laterali. La facciata, in stile romanico, è scandita da lesene ed è articolata su due piani separati da un fregio. Il campanile romanico è l'unica costruzione rimasta della originaria chiesa del 1080. All'interno le tre navate, delimitate da slanciati pilastri, terminano nei rispettivi absidi. L'abside centrale, la cupola e le cappelle sono decorate con affreschi e tele di pittori veneti del XVI e XVII secolo, tra cui spicca l'Ascensione di Cristo di Domenico Campagnola nel catino absidale. Di pregevole fattura il Crocifisso di scuola giottesca della prima metà del '400, dipinto a tempera su entrambi i lati. Rebuilt between 1490 and 1550, it has a Latin cross plan and three naves with side chapels. The facade, in Romanesque style, is marked by pilasters and is divided into two floors separated by a frieze. The Romanesque bell tower is the only building left from the original church from 1080. Inside the three naves, delimited by slender pillars, end in their respective apses. The central apse, the dome and the chapels are decorated with frescoes and paintings by Venetian painters from the 16th and 17th centuries, among which Domenico Campagnola's Ascension of Christ stands out in the apsidal basin. The Giotto school crucifix from the first half of the 15th century, painted in tempera on both sides, is of fine workmanship.

Pure al Campagnola si deve il grande affresco dell'abside, con l'Assunzione di Cristo. Da non mancare il Crocifisso ligneo trecentesco di scuola giottesca, bifronte. La chiesa non ha richiami artistici altisonanti. The place is lovely. The Praglia abbey is a corner of greenery and history. The shop inside is also nice. A visit to the monastery is recommended. The church has no high-sounding artistic references.

Tra i giochi di luce che si creano al suo interno, merita una visita per ammirare Santa Maria Assunta, la Croce polilobata. Ho visto che fanno visite guidate e non solo. Riporto in foto orari di quanto svolto in questa Chiesa. Beautiful church located at the end of a staircase that stands out even more. Among the plays of light that are created inside, it is worth a visit to admire Santa Maria Assunta, the multi-lobed Cross. I've seen that they do guided tours and more. A	Aida BALLARIN on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa è parte dell' Abbazia di Praglia e la sua costruzione avviene tra la fine del Quattrocento e i primi del Cinquecento. L'edificio venne edificato su uno sperone roccioso e quindi per accedere all'interno c'è una "discreta" gradinata da fare. Sull' abside e sulla cupola ci sono degli affreschi, mentre nelle navate laterali si possono vedere molti dipinti a olio di noti pittori del Rinascimento. Molto armoniosa e bella. The Church is part of the Abbey of Praglia and its construction took place between the end of the fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. The building was built on a rocky spur and therefore to access the inside there is a "discreet" staircase to do. On the apse and on the dome there are frescoes, while in the side aisles you can see many oil paintings by well-known Renaissance painters. Very harmonious and beautiful.
