★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Torre di Palme, frazione di Fermo, si trova a pochi km da Porto San Giorgio. E' un bel balcone panoramico sulla cima di un colle in posizione dominante la costa ed il mare Adriatico. L'abitato, di origine medievale, offre case in pietra, stradine acciottolate e begli scorci. Altresì tre chiese: San Giovanni, Chiesa di Sant'Agostino e la chiesa di Santa Maria a Mare.
 Torre di Palme, a hamlet of Fermo, is located a few km from Porto San Giorgio. It is a beautiful panoramic balcony on the top of a hill overlooking the coast and the Adriatic sea. The town, of medieval origin, offers stone houses, cobbled streets and beautiful views. There are also three churches: San Giovanni, Sant'Agostino Church and the church of Santa Maria a Mare.

Interamente ridecorata ai primi del 900, quasi in stile liberty, conserva ancora le semplici linee medioevali.
Small church with three naves, with cloister and side chapel.
Entirely redecorated in the early 1900s, almost in Art Nouveau style, it still retains the simple medieval lines.

si ammira il litorale sino al Conero

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Church of Santa Maria a Mare, built in the 12th century and subsequently modified, in stone and terracotta blocks, whose bell tower is decorated with intertwined arches and majolica basins: interesting the interior with three naves with raised presbytery and Byzantine style frescoes of the XIV century. On the left of the church, in a small garden, there is a really well, once used as a Baptistery.
