e	enrico corna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fu costruita nel XVII secolo con il campanile e l'edificio attiguo che fu sede delle Agostiniane fino alla soppressione napoleonica.La facciata attribuita a F.Magone è rimasta in mattoni di cotto a vista.L'interno è a navata unica con 2 altari laterali mentre quello dell'abside è riccamente intagliato.Purtoppo nessuna delle teli presenti oggi è appartenuta originariamente alla chiesa.Da due porticine ai lati si accede al coro della monache in cui è esposto un bel crocifisso;gli stalli sono stati recentemente restaurati It was built in the seventeenth century with the bell tower and the adjacent building which was the seat of the Augustinians until the Napoleonic suppression. M	MARIO MORETTI ZOOM MASTER on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durante la Giornata del Fai del 24-03-19 abbiamo partecipato alla visita della Chiesa di Santa Elisabetta, piccola, ma molto interessante per le opere in essa conservate. La costruzione della Chiesa risale al 1626, quindi sia la facciata, sia l’interno sono in stile barocco. La facciata, attribuita all’Architetto locale Fabio Mangoni, mantiene l’aspetto originario in mattoni a vista con portale in pietra arenaria grigia. La navata unica è divisa da un tramezzo, che separava la parte anteriore, riservata ai fedeli, da quella posteriore un tempo utilizzato unicamente dal coro delle suore Agostiniane, che vivevano nell’annesso Convento Aperture nel tramezzo consentivano il propagarsi dei canti, accompagnati da un piccolo organo portatili, nella parte anteriore. Sulle pareti laterali sono inserite due Cappelle, ciascuna contenente una pala. Sulla parete frontale del tramezzo è posto l’altare ligneo molto ricco di fregi tipici del barocco, con due colonne ritorte al centro delle quali è posta una pala. Tre lati della zona coro sono occupati da lunghe serie di scranni con cornici e cariatidi in noce scolpita e schienali intarsiati in radica. Quando si è nel Coro, lo sguardo è anche attirato in alto dalla luce che entra dai finestroni sui quattro lati e dall’effetto prospettico generato dalle semi-arcate del soffitto. When one is in the choir, the gaze is also attracted to the high by the light that enters from the large windows on the four sides and from the perspective effect generated by the semi-arches of the ceiling.
