★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa dedicata a S. Andrea, sorge nell'omonimo e piu vecchio quartiere del paese, dalle strette e tortuose viuzze, appollaiato sui primi contrafforti del colle matrice per chi sale da Viagrande e denominato anche dei Bonanni o S. Andrea. Il suo culto è da attribuire alla tradizione di essere stato questo il Santo protettore dei Martiri Alfio, Filadelfo e Cirino compatroni del paese. La chiesa attuale è posteriore al terremoto del 1693. È modesta nell'ampiezza e la sua struttura è estremamente semplice; il portale in pietra lavica non presenta alcun fregio e data sovrasto da una finestra quadrata. Nella piccola cella campanaria, una campana dedicata a S. Andrea, fusa nel 1891 in Giarre da Mariano Arcivescovo fu Sebastiano.
L'intero semplice è adornato nella parete dell'altare da un affresco raffigurante la Madonna dei Miracoli.
 The church dedicated to S. Andrea, rises in the homonymous and oldest district of the town, with narrow and winding alleys, perched on the first buttresses of the matrix hill for those who climb from Viagrande and also called dei Bonanni or S. Andrea. His cult is to be attributed to the tradition of having been the patron saint of the martyrs Alfio, Filadelfo and Cirino, co-patrons of the town. The present church dates back to the 1693 earthquake. It is modest in size and its structure is extremely simple; the lava stone portal has no frieze and date over it by a square window. In the small belfry, a bell dedicated to S. Andrea, cast in 1891 in Giarre by Mariano Archbishop was Sebastiano.
The whole simple is adorned in the wall of the altar by a fresco depicting the Madonna dei Miracoli.
