Episcopale, in dialetto San Piruschin. La lapide, esterna , prova che la chiesetta è romanica e che per circa sei secoli si pensa che sia stata cattedrale
di Fano. Ma un’altra lapide all’interno voluta dal
vescovo Micci (recente dopo restauro) spiega che essere stata cattedrale è
dovuto solo alla tradizione. leggenda
vi sarebbe sepolto un capitano fanese, Bertolagi, deceduto nel 452.
In Via Rinalducci there is the church of San Pier Vescovile or
Episcopal, in dialect San Piruschin. The external plaque proves that the church is Romanesque and that for about six centuries it is thought to have been a cathedral
