★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La costruzione della chiesa parrocchiale di San Nicola di Mira fu probabilmente iniziata nel XIV secolo anche se l'impianto originario potrebbe essere di poco precedente. Sulla facciata principale è posta una lapide in ricordo del passaggio di papa Innocenzo II nel 1137 che fuggendo alla persecuzione dell'antipapa Anacleto, appoggiato dal normanno Ruggero, va incontro a Potenza all'imperatore Lotario II. La "Cronista Conzana" riporta nel 1691 che nella Chiesa Madre, a quel tempo sotto il titolo di S. Nicolò, sono riposte le reliquie di S. Anselmo martire che Giovanni De Sangro, Duca di Vietri, ha donato al paese il 25 aprile 1616.
 The construction of the parish church of San Nicola di Mira was probably started in the 14th century, although the original layout may have been a little earlier. On the main facade there is a plaque in memory of the passage of Pope Innocent II in 1137 who, fleeing the persecution of the antipope Anacletus, supported by the Norman Roger, goes to meet Emperor Lothair II in Potenza. The "Cronista Conzana" reports in 1691 that in the Mother Church, at that time under the title of S.
