★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le origini della chiesa parrocchiale di S. Nicola devono essere ricondotte alla presenza delle antiche cappelle del SS. Redentore e del Rosario, costruite verso il 1450. Con bolla pontificia del 1585, le antiche cappelle del SS. Redentore e del Rosario furono riunite sotto il titolo di San Nicola di Bari e fu costruita la nuova chiesa parrocchiale. La chiesa fu rifatta ed ampliata nel 1785 ad opera del maestro napoletano Antonio Staffetta, che ne modificò ampiamente il primitivo stile romanico.
 The origins of the parish church of S. Nicola must be traced back to the presence of the ancient chapels of the SS. Redeemer and Rosary, built around 1450. With papal bull of 1585, the ancient chapels of the SS. Redentore and del Rosario were reunited under the title of San Nicola di Bari and the new parish church was built. The church was rebuilt and enlarged in 1785 by the Neapolitan master Antonio Staffetta, who largely modified its primitive Romanesque style.
