★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affascinante chiesa dedicata a San Michele costruita, o rimaneggiata, in due momenti diversi. La facciata, a capanna, perpendicolare alla via e quasi nascosta, presenta una parte più bassa realizzata in pietra e con portale medievale, una parte più alta in mattoni e con finestra rinascimentale. L'interno ha un'unica navata sormontata da capriate lignee, suddivisa da archi leggermente a sesto acuto; il presbiterio è rialzato e contiene uno splendido ciborio con volta a crociera e un affresco del XVI secolo raffigurante la Madonna con Gesù, Sant'Andrea e San Michele Arcangelo.
 Fascinating church dedicated to San Michele built, or remodeled, in two different moments. The gabled façade, perpendicular to the street and almost hidden, has a lower part made of stone and with a medieval portal, a higher part in brick and with a Renaissance window. The interior has a single nave surmounted by wooden trusses, divided by slightly pointed arches; the presbytery is raised and contains a splendid ciborium with a cross vault and a 16th century fresco depicting the Madonna with Jesus, Sant'Andrea and San Michele Arcangelo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa di San Michele è una vera scoperta. Auguro a tutti di trovare per la via un abitante di Serra de' Conti che spieghi i vari tesori nascosti, proprio come ho avuto la fortuna io.
Una breve scalinata porta davanti al portone. Volgete lo sguardo in basso e vedrete due mani sul marmo, pronte ad accogliervi. Le mani come simbolo di accoglienza e rifugio come lo era questa chiesa in passato, un porto franco in cui la gendarmeria non poteva entrare e in cui i fuggiaschi trovavano salvezza e sicurezza. A destra ci sono tre affreschi, a me ha colpito il primo poiché sembra ricordare la storia della Madonna del Cerro (il cui santuario non è lontano). Molto suggestiva tutta la struttura.
Possiamo intuire quanto fosse importante nel XIII-XV sec. quando venne edificata. É in assoluto una delle chiese più belle!!
