Conteneva 5 altari con tele settecentesche e un affresco del 1579 dell'Angelucci. Purtroppo gli altari con le tele, la statua di San Michele e non so che altro, sono stati rubati. L'affresco è stato spostato durante i lavori di restauro dopo il sisma del '97. La chiesa non ha ormai nulla di antico visto che la facciata è del 1930 circa, il resto della chiesa è stato rifatto dopo il sisma del '97 e, cosa essenziale i fedeli non esistono più in numero tale da giustificare una chiesa di queste dimensioni. Spero non vengano utilizzati altri soldi per ricostruirla com'era. It was once the largest church in the valley and the most important, along with the Pieve di Sant'Oreste di Casavecchia. It contained 5 altars with eighteenth-century paintings and a 1579 fresco by Angelucci. Unfortunately the altars with the paintings, the statue of San Michele and I don't know what else, have been stolen. The fresco was moved during the restoration work after the earthquake of '97. The church does not have anything ancient since the facade is from around 1930, the rest of the church was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1997 and, essential thing the faithful no longer exist in such numbers as to justify a church of this size. I hope no more money is used to rebuild it as it was.
