D	Digital Rovato on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è molto antica. Gli affreschi interni risalgono alla fine del XIV secolo e fanno riferimento ai santi Filastro e Gaudenzio. I Longobardi dedicano la chiesa al loro patrono San Michele. Vengono costruiti luoghi di culto più accessibili ma la chiesa resta il punto di riferimento per i pastori. Nel IX -X viene modificata e rimane come adesso. E' una piccola chiesa, ha una navata rettangolare coperta da capriate a vista e con un abside semicircolare. E' costruita in muratura di conci irregolari di conglomerato del Monte Orfano. Nel 1927 la chiesa è stata dichiarata monumento nazionale. L'ultimo restauro risale al 1981 dall'associazione AVIS di Rovato.Ricerca effettuata durante il PON: "Digital Rovato" dagli alunni dell'Istituto Comprensivo "Don Milani" - Secondaria "Leonardo Da Vinci" di Rovato A.S. 2019/2020. The church is very old. The internal frescoes date back to the end of the 14th century and refer to the saints Filastro and Gaudenzio. The Lombards dedicate the church to their patron Saint Michael. More accessible places of worship are built but the church remains the reference point for pastors. In IX-X it is modified and remains as it is now. It is a small church, it has a rectangular nave covered by exposed trusses and with a semicircular apse. It is built in masonry of irregular conglomerate ashlars of Monte Orfano. In 1927 the church was declared a national monument. The last restoration dates back to 1981 by the AVIS association of Rovato. Research carried out during the PON: "Digital Rovato" by the students of the "Don Milani" Comprehensive Institute - Secondary "Leonardo Da Vinci" of Rovato A.S. 2019/2020.
