Nel corso dei secoli ha vissuto diverse fasi di restauro, forse a causa di una originaria assenza di perizia nella prima edificazione. Nel 1970 la chiesa è stata oggetto di lavori di ristrutturazione e restauro tra i quali il consolidamento delle murature con la realizzazione delle arcate e il rifacimento dei pavimenti.
The Church of St. Mark the Evangelist dates back to 1578 with the aggregation of the two parishes of St. Leo and St. Eustace. Over the centuries it has experienced various stages of restoration, perhaps because of a lack of expertise in original first building. In 1970, the church has undergone renovation and restoration works including the consolidation of the walls with the construction of the arches and the renovation of the floors.
