L'edificio é stato realizzato con una soluzione architettonica piuttosto frequente in questi luoghi: aula rettangolare lunga e stretta, facciata con campanile che incorpora il portale d'ingresso alla chiesa. Una cella campanaria con bifore completa il campanile.
La chiesa è relativamente recente e la sua storia riflette soprattutto i rapporti della comunità di Driolassa con le parrocchie dei paesi limitrofi.
The church dates back to 1750 and contains some valuable works including a painting depicting the Madonna del Carmine. The building was built with a rather frequent architectural solution in these places: long and narrow rectangular hall, façade with bell tower that incorporates the entrance portal to the church. A belfry complete with mullioned bell tower.
The church is relatively recent and its history reflects above all the relations of the Driolassa community with the parishes of the neighboring countries.
