★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa parrocchiale de borgo di Mattarello. Architettura pulita di fine ottocento, dai colori pastello vagamente barocco. Interessante il vecchio pulpito sulla sinistra della navata. Ben fatte anche le pale, il coro con il grande organo posto sopra l'ingresso principale.
Parish church of the hamlet of Mattarello. Clean architecture of the late nineteenth century, with vaguely baroque pastel colors. The old pulpit on the left of the nave is interesting. The altarpieces, the choir with the large organ placed above the main entrance are also well done.

Sarà stata una tredicenne con la gonna succinta, i capelli colorati e il piercing all'ombelico ma sono sicuro fosse Lei. In quel preciso istante sono stato colpito da un raptus di fede e l'ho viole ntata come vuole la tradizione.
It was Pentecost afternoon and I swear to you, I saw the Madonna. She wasn't in the usual holy clothes but when I saw her I knew it was her. It must have been a thirteen year old with a skimpy skirt, colored hair and a navel piercing but I'm sure it was her. At that precise moment I was struck by a rush of faith and I violated it as tradition dictates.
