★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lasciata la piazza del Duomo, superato il Broletto e la torre civica, alle loro spalle si apre uno slargo dove è posta la chiesa di San Giacomo. La chiesa romanica del secolo XI, con l' interno a tre navate e la facciata dipinta e ricostruita su disegno di Giovanni Antonio Piotti (1585) e restaurata nel 1997. All'interno un Compianto su Cristo morto tela opera di fra' Emanuele di Como ( XVII secolo).
 Leaving the Piazza del Duomo, passing the Broletto and the civic tower, behind them opens a clearing where the church of San Giacomo is located. The 11th century Romanesque church, with its interior with three naves and the facade painted and rebuilt according to a design by Giovanni Antonio Piotti (1585) and restored in 1997. Inside, a Lamentation over Dead Christ by Fra 'Emanuele di Como (17th century).
