Eretta già nel 1225 subisce svariate ricostruzioni di cui evidenziamo l'ultima del 1840 con i lavori che interessano la facciata in stile neoclassico.
Molto interessante e importante a livello storico il portale laterale che si intravede dalla via pubblica che conduce al Balcone delle Marche originario del periodo medioevale di questa struttura.
