★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono andato a Taverna per la mostra allestita nel chiostro di questa Chiesa su Mattia Preti ed i suoi contemporanei.
Non ero assolutamente preparato alla bellezza di questo capolavoro in cui i capolavori pittorici dei fratelli Preti si fondono in una serie infinita di cpolavori di intarsio ed intaglio opera di maestranze locali.
Dal soffitto al coro, dall'organo al pulpito sono tutti di una strepitosa bellezza.
E spprattutto si crea un incomparabile unicum.

I went to Taverna for the exhibition set up in the cloister of this Church on Mattia Preti and his contemporaries.
I was absolutely not prepared for the beauty of this masterpiece in which the pictorial masterpieces of the Preti brothers merge into an endless series of works of inlay and carving by local craftsmen.
From the ceiling to the choir, from the organ to the pulpit are all of an amazing beauty.
Above all, an incomparable uniqueness is created.
