R	Rocco Iacovino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è situata nei pressi di via di Monte Frumentario, nella parte antica del paese. Fino al 1570 fu la parrocchia ufficiale per poi passare il titolo alla collegiata di San Lorenzo; la costruzione della chiesa è del 1400 ma la sua cronologia esatta è difficile da stabilire, poiché andò distrutta nel 1593. La chiesa, con navata centrale e cappelle laterali, è sempre stata una chiesa tumulante per uomini, donne e bambini. Gli ultimi rifacimenti sono del 1830. Nell’abside sono visibili due pitture murali (a destra affresco di sant’Edisto e san Rocco, a sinistra la tempera di san Biagio vescovo) e sopra l’altare si trova un dipinto a olio della Sacra Famiglia con san Giovannino, copia di un dipinto su tavola del celebre pittore Pierin del Vaga. Le altre cappelle sono dedicate a sant’ Anna, al Crocefisso, a san Carlo Borromeo, alla Madonna Assunta, a san Giovanni Decollato e l’ultima a san Rocco. The church is located near Via di Monte Frumentario, in the old part of the town. Until 1570 it was the official parish and then passed the title to the collegiate church of San Lorenzo; the church was built in 1400 but its exact chronology is difficult to establish, since it was destroyed in 1593. The church, with a central nave and side chapels, has always been a burial church for men, women and children. The last remakes are from 1830. In the apse there are two wall paintings (on the right there is a fresco of Saint Edisto and Saint Rocco, on the left the tempera of Saint Biagio the bishop) and above the altar there is an oil painting of the Holy Family with St. John the Baptist, a copy of a painting by the famous painter Pierin del Vaga. The other chapels are dedicated to Saint Anne, to the Crucifix, to Saint Charles Borromeo, to the Madonna Assunta, to Saint Giovanni Decollato and the last to Saint Rocco.

C'è anche un ossario ritrovato durante gli scavi. Da ringraziare i restauratori e tutti coloro che hanno reso possibile questa meraviglia. Da visitare.
