La consiglio di visitarla se si passa per Segni! Complimenti! It was the first time I visited it, very small, but all made of stone, very welcoming, particular, in a good state. La chiesa poggia sui resti di quello che era il tempo di Giunone Moneta, di cui rimangono il podio e la cella (naòs per i templi greci); una fase edilizia di VIII-IX secolo si può accertare prendendo in considerazione un frammento con un decorazione a treccia inglobato nel corpo di fabbrica del campanile romanico. All'interno si possono vedere pitture di diverse epoche: Madonna con Bambino risalente al XIII secolo, un san Sebastiano di XV secolo e una Madonna con Bambino fra i santi diaconi Stefano e Lorenzo e un altro santo con capelli e barba bianchi. La chiesa si trova sul punto più alto di Segni da dove si gode una spettacolare vista dei paesi attorno. The church of S. Pietro, as it appears today, is the result of multiple renovations that have followed over the centuries. The church rests on the remains of what was the time of Juno Moneta, of which the podium and the cell remain (naòs for the Greek temples); a construction phase of the VIII-IX century can be ascertained by taking into consideration a fragment with a braided decoration incorporated in the building of the Romanesque bell tower. Inside you can see paintings from different eras: Madonna and Child dating from the thirteenth century, a fifteenth century Saint Sebastian and a Madonna and Child between the holy deacons Stephen and Lorenzo and another saint with white hair and beard. The church is located on the highest point of Segni from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding villages.

Piccola, semplice, quasi spoglia ma molto affascinante e bella come l'ampio sagrato coperto da selci bianchi, la facciata in tufo con il campanile alto circa 15 metri. All'interno c'è anche qualche opera importante.
