★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Estremamente interessante l'interno romanico con affreschi nell' abside solo in parte conservati. Da vedere la cripta con il piccolo museo di reperti di epoca romana e medievale.

La chiesa è in stile romanico, e le sue origini sono assai remote si parla dell'VIII e delX secolo.
E' detta Ottavo perchè si trova all'ottavo miglio della strada romana "Via Faventina", che univa Faenza all'Etruria.
The Pieve di San Giovanni meets just outside Brisighella.
The church is in Romanesque style, and its origins are very remote, we speak of the 8th and 10th centuries.
It is called Ottavo because it is located at the eighth mile of the Roman road "Via Faventina", which connected Faenza to Etruria.
