★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa Parrocchiale è un edificio moderno realizzato negli anni '60 per volere dell'allora parroco mons. Gino Lazzerini. Prima la Parrocchia risiedeva nella vecchia chiesa, forse di origine medioevale, situata in una collina, distante dal centro abitato di Tavernelle che si stava in quegli anni ingrandendosi. L'intuizione del Parroco fu provvidenziale, e in pochi anni gli abitanti di Tavernelle costruirono la nuova chiesa che divenne la Parrocchia dell'Assunzione di Maria Vergine. Successivamente, con il decreto vescovile del 1986 la vecchia parrocchia cessava di esistere, e veniva accorpata assieme ad altre chiese ormai abbandonate, a quella di Tavernelle. Dal 1985 è parroco don Marco Salvi.
 The parish church is a modern building built in the 1960s at the behest of the then parish priest Msgr. Gino Lazzerini. First the Parish resided in the old church, perhaps of medieval origin, situated on a hill, away from the inhabited center of Tavernelle that was growing in those years. The parish priest's intuition was providential, and in a few years the inhabitants of Tavernelle built the new church which became the Parish of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Subsequently, with the episcopal decree of 1986 the old parish ceased to exist, and was merged together with other churches now abandoned, to that of Tavernelle. Since 1985 he is parish priest don Marco Salvi.
