★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa dell’Annunziata, che rimane la più interessante delle chiese di Picerno dopo la chiesa matrice, con buone probabilità risale al XIV secolo, come attesta il portale a rilievo in pietra scolpita con arco a sesto acuto. Nel 1974, in occasione di scavi effettuati per il consolidamento ed adeguamento strutturale della chiesa, a partire da un vano voltato a crociera, probabile cripta della chiesa originaria, ubicato alla base dell'abside ed aperto da un piccolo portale in pietra, sono stati scoperti degli affreschi databili intorno alla fine del IV secolo.
 The church of the Annunziata, which remains the most interesting of the churches of Picerno after the matrix church, probably dates back to the 14th century, as evidenced by the carved stone portal with pointed arch. In 1974, on the occasion of excavations carried out for the consolidation and structural adjustment of the church, starting from a cross-vaulted room, probably the crypt of the original church, located at the base of the apse and opened by a small stone portal, they were discovered frescoes dating from around the end of the 4th century.
