Beautiful church but bad sound, the desired acoustics of the building are leaking and are incomprehensible in almost all the seats, I recommend the advice of a specialized sound engineer. Merry Christmas

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essa sorge in forme lombardo-gotiche, sull'area centrale di un ex collegio barnabita (già residenza settecentesca dei conti Porro), su progetto dei rinomati architetti Angelo Savoldi[1] e Giovan Battista Borsani (1850-1906), che s'ispirarono alla basilica di Sant'Andrea in Vercelli (1219-1227). La posa della prima pietra risale al 23 giugno 1895, l'apertura al culto nel 1897. Degno di nota il il prestigioso dipinto "Cristo in croce con la Maddalena" di Francesco Hayez
It rises in Lombard-Gothic forms, on the central area of a former Barnabite college (former eighteenth-century residence of the Porro counts), designed by the renowned architects Angelo Savoldi [1] and Giovan Battista Borsani (1850-1906), who were inspired to the basilica of Sant'Andrea in Vercelli (1219-1227). The laying of the foundation stone dates back to 23 June 1895, the opening to worship in 1897. The prestigious painting "Christ on the cross with the Magdalene" by Francesco Hayez is noteworthy.
