★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa divenne sede di parrocchia nel 1784 ed entrò a far parte della diocesi di Pistoia essendo vescovo Scipione de' Ricci, mentre in precedenza dipendeva dalla diocesi di Bologna, come peraltro tutte le chiese della Sambuca. Ha origini seicentesche: ha subito modifiche rilevanti nei secoli successivi, come ad esempio l'ottocentesco portico sostenuto da due colonne di arenaria che terminano su un muretto in pietra. La chiesa è costituita da un'unica navata con abside rettangolare posta a quota leggermente superiore rispetto all'aula e separata da questa tramite paraste. L'aula ha copertura piana intonacata, mentre la zona presbiteriale è coperta da volta a botte. Mentre all'interno sono presenti, oltre all'altare principale, due altari laterali.
The Church became the seat of a parish in 1784 and became part of the diocese of Pistoia, being bishop Scipione de 'Ricci, while previously it depended on the diocese of Bologna, as indeed all the churches of the Sambuca. It has seventeenth-century origins: it has undergone significant changes in the following centuries, such as the nineteenth-century portico supported by two sandstone columns ending on a stone wall. The church consists of a single nave with a rectangular apse located slightly higher than the classroom and separated from it by pilasters. The classroom has a flat plastered roof, while the presbytery area is covered by a barrel vault. While inside there are, in addition to the main altar, two side altars.
