S	Simona Guidi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella organizzazione gestita da volontari amanti di queste fantastiche creature marine, di cui si occupano con una passione ed un impegno straordinari, sacrificandosi in prima persona. Lodevole l'impegno didattico dei volontari per sensibilizzare adulti e bambini al rispetto del mare. Trattandosi di una struttura che fa ricerca e recupero bisogna chiedere ai volontari un appuntamento, dando la priorità alle necessità di queste creature spesso ferite e quindi delicate. Non si tratta di uno zoo, ma di un posto autentico dove la priorità sono gli animali marini e le loro esigenze. Un posto raro e prezioso, per chi ama il mare davvero. Beautiful organization run by volunteers who love these fantastic sea creatures, which they deal with with an extraordinary passion and commitment, sacrificing themselves. The didactic commitment of the volunteers to raise awareness of adults and children to respect the sea is commendable. Since this is a facility that does research and recovery, volunteers should be asked for an appointment, giving priority to the needs of these often injured and therefore delicate creatures. It is not a zoo, but an authentic place where marine animals and their needs are the priority. A rare and precious place, for those who really love the sea.

Volontari preparati ed ottima l'organizzazione nella gestione. Abbiamo concluso la giornata con l'adozione di una tartaruga, bellissima esperienza per i ragazzi. C	Christian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anche se breve, la visita è stata molto interessante... È possibile chiamare il centro per prendere un appuntamento solo la mattina dalle 10:00 alle 12:00 . La ragazza è stata molto gentile a riceverci la stessa mattinata, ma purtroppo solo per un breve periodo, mostrandoci e spiegandoci le attività e le storie degli ospiti del centro. Purtroppo le prenotazioni sono molte e a causa Covid non posso ricevere grandi gruppi. Purtroppo ma anche per fortuna, perché il centro viene sostenuto da donazioni, quindi più visite e donazioni ci sono e più è possibile destinare cure alle tartarughe in difficoltà. Un ringraziamento particolarmente va ai volontari del centro, con cui ho avuto il privilegio di parlare, ricevere informazioni e capire lo splendido lavoro che fanno per salvare queste bestiole, che hanno avuto la sventura di essere venute in contatto con gli umani. Occorre precisare che il Centro ha ridotti orari di visita perché il personale - costituito per lo più da alcuni volontari - è impegnato nelle varie cure alle tartarughe per buona parte della giornata, riservando le visite alla mattina. È assolutamente necessario prenotare, per evitare affollamenti ma soprattutto rumori che possono disturbare e stressare le tartarughe in cura. Le ospiti sono veramente trattate bene, ognuna ha il suo nome e, quando vengono rimesse in libertà (solo se guarite) è un momento particolarmente sentito da tutti gli operatori. È un'organizzazione che vive per lo più di donazioni e volontariato. Bella esperienza che consiglio: si scopriranno tante cose sulle tartarughe ma soprattutto si capirà l'importanza di un atteggiamento corretto nei confronti dell'ambiente marino. Il centro è facile da raggiungere e c'è un ampio parcheggio gratuito nelle vicinanze (a fianco al Conad). La volontaria che ci ha accompagnate (Chiara) è una veterinaria ed è stata puntuale e esaustiva nelle informazioni, molto disponibile a rispondere anche alle nostre curiosità. I volontari compiono un grande lavoro per recuperare, guarire e rimettere in libertà le tartarughe marine. Sono persone competenti e si dedicano con passione alla salvaguardia di questi animali. Il centro merita senz'altro una visita tenendo presente che non è uno zoo. La nostra visita è durata circa 45 minuti. Noi abbiamo anche adottato una tartaruga, ma è anche possibile lasciare un'offerta libera. Complimenti per il lavoro svolto!! Good experience! The visit is made by reservation.
