Che sia pranzo o aperitivo punto di ristoro fondamentale.
Dotato di salone ampio interno ma si può stare anche all'aperto.
Non c'è servizio al tavolo bisogna prima munirsi di apposito scontrino.
Consigliato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Punto ristoro sia bar che ristorante. Fatta una sosta al volo per uno Spritz ed un caffè. C'è sempre un via vai di persone essendo adiacente alle piste da sci. Personale cortese e disponibile. Bagni puliti.
Refreshment point both bar and restaurant. Made a stop on the fly for a Spritz and a coffee. There is always a coming and going of people being adjacent to the ski slopes. Staff courteous and helpful. Clean bathrooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Centro è in un'ottima posizione per una sosta gastronomica
dopo una passeggiata, lo sci (discesa e fondo): fermarsi a "La Fonte" è un "must", soprattutto se si vuole un pasto svelto, ma accurato, a pochi passi da...gli sci che si asciugano al sole, lo spogliatoio in cui ci si cambia, il deposito dove l'attrezzatura viene accuratamente preparata... Anche la struttura è davvero accogliente: rinnovata dei servizi igienici, più adeguati e spaziosi, ha ampi posti a sedere all'interno, sui tavoli e all'esterno, al sole, su ampie tavolate di legno, di stile rustico. I piatti sono semplici e minimali (panino, pizza), oppure ricchi primi della tradizione (pizzoccheri, gnocchi di polenta, abbinamenti valtellinesi di formaggi, affettati, con funghi e altre delizie. Non mancano le zuppe: goulash, zuppa di verdura. Rimpiango la minestra d'orzo, che non viene più fatta, ahimè (speriamo che ci ripensino!), ma anche degli ottimi secondi (selvaggina: brasato di cervo, o la più "domestica" cotoletta, l'"uregia"). Specialmente buone anche le torte. Il servizio è ai tavoli solo se non c'è molta folla, altrimenti è self-service. Si noleggiano l'attrezzatura da sci e anche le sedie sdraio nel seminterrato, dove c'è un laboratorio per la preparazione dell'attrezzatura sciistica.
The Center is in a great location for a gastronomic stop
after a walk, skiing (downhill and cross-country): stopping at "La Fonte" is a "must", especially if you want a quick but accurate meal, a few steps from ... the skis that dry in the sun, the changing room where you change, the storage where the equipment is carefully prepared ... The structure is also really welcoming: the restrooms have been renovated, more adequate and spacious, with ample seating inside, on the tables and in the outside, in the sun, on large wooden tables, in a rustic style. The dishes are simple and minimal (sandwich, pizza), or rich traditional first courses (pizzoccheri, polenta gnocchi, Valtellina combinations of cheeses, cold cuts, with mushrooms and other delicacies. There is no shortage of soups: goulash, vegetable soup. barley soup, which is no longer made, alas (we hope they'll think again!), but also excellent main courses (game: braised venison, or the more "domestic" cutlet, the "uregia"). the cakes. The service is at the tables only if there is not a lot of crowd, otherwise it is self-service. Ski equipment is rented as well as deck chairs in the basement, where there is a workshop for preparing the equipment skiing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best place to be in Santa Caterina after a long session of cross country skiing, right next to the ski rent.
Here I've tried the absolutely best hot chocolate ever, but if you get one make sure is with whipped cream!! Super fresh and fluffy. That's real whipped cream!
We've been served by a young blond girl that asked us how was the day going, surprised about it!! and the tipical dish, pizzocheri was amazing !!!
I'll be back soon!
