Molto contenuto ma merita sicuramente una visita, come tutto il paese; alla scoperta d'architetture obsolete ma affascinanti. Peccato non poter accedere alla torre ed a qualche sala di lavorazione. Ingresso gratuito, bagni puliti. A dip in the recent past and yet so distant from our current way of life! Very content but certainly worth a visit, like the whole country; discovering obsolete but fascinating architectures. Too bad not being able to access the tower and some processing rooms. Free entry, clean bathrooms.

Bellissimi diorami e ottime didascalie, per un'esposizione che si articola su più piani. Imperdibile il plastico di Torviscosa, che evidenzia le diverse fasi costruttive della fabbrica e della città di fondazione costruita per alloggiare operai e dirigenti. Una vera chicca, che merita un paio d'ore per essere esplorata a dovere! An excellent exhibition space, with free admission, dedicated to the fascinating history of Torviscosa and, more generally, to the urban and industrial history of Italy in the Fascist era. Beautiful dioramas and excellent captions, for an exhibition that is divided into several floors. Do not miss the model of Torviscosa, which highlights the different construction phases of the factory and the city of foundation built to house workers and managers. A real gem, which deserves a couple of hours to be explored properly!

Torviscosa è nata in un periodo storico particolare, siamo negli anni che precedono la II Guerra mondiale, ed il governo fascista per limitare gli effetti dell'embargo decide di utilizzare le canne per produrre la viscosa. Oggi chi si reca a visitarla deve avere gli occhi di una persona di allora: al posto della palude sorsero stabilimenti industriali, coltivazioni, quartieri abitativi, chiesa, scuole, impianti sportivi, ferrovia e porto fluviale. Nacque una città che, ancora oggi, rappresenta un esempio di organizzazione industriale. Per chi volesse avere ulteriori informazioni c'è un importante centro di documentazione, vicino alla Torre di controllo. Torviscosa is definitely a place not to be missed. It is a city built from nothing in an unhealthy and marshy area that overlooks the Grado lagoon. Torviscosa was born in a particular historical period, we are in the years preceding World War II, and the fascist government to limit the effects of the embargo decides to use rods to produce viscose. Apprezzatissima la possibilità di fare foto anche all'interno del sito espositivo. Grande lo sforzo e l'impegno percepito per il recupero storico.
