Tra alberi secolari e accompagnato da un dolce suono del ruscello a poche centinaia di metri dal centro storico ma lontano da quel rumore quotidiano, si possono trovare due asinelli che quotidianamente puliscono mentre mangiano. Il mulino si avvia pian piano per uno sviluppo didattico con macina per la farina e la salvaguardia dell'ambiente. Da visitare perché la natura è di tutti.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si tratta di un antico mulino a pochi passi dal castello normanno-svevo di Nicastro, riportato ai fasti di un tempo tramite opera di riqualificazione dell'edificio stesso e della zona circostante, quest'ultima tradizionalmente conosciuta come "bosco delle fate", al cui interno scorre il torrente Canne. La sua storia è un intreccio di vita contadina, favole e tradizioni popolari. A volte vengono eseguite interessanti visite guidate che illustrano la storia del mulino e quella della sua riqualificazione.
