La pista è ben curata, ed passano a bordo pista con le motoslitta a controllare che sia tutto in ordine. Nel negozio è possibile noleggiare sci e racchette per fare del fondo. Ma anche ciaspole. Noi abbiamo ciaspolato facendo un percorso adiacente alla pista di fondo. Bella esperienza. A beautiful cross-country track, with trees to frame the path. The track is well maintained, and they pass by the snowmobile on the track to check that everything is in order. In the shop you can rent skis and poles for cross-country skiing. But also snowshoes. We snowshoeed on a path adjacent to the cross-country track. Good experience.
S	Stefano Bertone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto carino e ben attrezzato ma distante dai centri abitati e la strada non è delle migliori specie in pieno inverno con ghiaccio e neve. Le piste si snodano in un pianoro purtroppo deturpato dai tralicci elettrici: sciare sotto i tralicci non è il massimo del piacere. Con 15€ di noleggia il materiale e si accede alla pista. Il bar ha prezzo onesti. Un po' più di cordialità della gestione, stile anni '70, non guasterebbe. Pietose le indicazioni per accedere al centro e soprattutto per lasciare l'auto che consiglio di parcheggiare subito meno spazio vicino alla strada principale. L'altro parcheggio dopo il ponticello è uno sterrato fangoso mal tenuto. Metter un po' di ghiaia no? Comunque per chi è in zona e vuole provare il fondo può essere una interessante opzione. San Michele è una delle più belle frazioni di Formazza, lambita dal fiume Toce e immersa nel verde. Ideale per passeggiate lungo tutta la valle, ma anche per rilassarsi nella quiete montana. I admit that I visited the place in the summer, but beyond the winter sports it is a wonderful place in any season. San Michele is one of the most beautiful hamlets of Formazza, lapped by the Toce river and surrounded by greenery. Ideal for walks along the entire valley, but also for relaxing in the quiet mountains.

The gentleman who takes care of the place is top man, very friendly and spoke good English (he has traveled the world before). The ladies at the cafe were lovely. Hope to be back before the snow disappear. See you :-)
