Il Catojo è ambiente tipico dei borghi calabresi, ristrutturato con grande cura nella lavorazione della pietra che prevale su ogni parete e nell'arredamento rustico, ma attentamente ricercato all'insegna dei dettagli storici e culturali della nostra terra. Tutto incastonato nello splendido borgo di Badolato (CZ), a cui si affaccia anche attraverso archi realizzati sempre in pietra che offrono uno scenario idillico, rilassante. Ideale in ogni periodo dell'anno, la cucina soddisfa tutti i palati puntando sulla ottima qualità degli ingredienti scelti giornalmente per garantire freschezza e bontà a pari livello. Gentilezza e cordialità ai massimi livelli. Insomma una vera chicca!!!! From 5 stars location, menu and hospitality. The Catojo is a typical environment of the Calabrian villages, renovated with great care in the processing of the stone that prevails on every wall and in the rustic furnishings, but carefully researched in the name of the historical and cultural details of our land. All set in the splendid village of Badolato (CZ), which it also overlooks through arches made of stone that offer an idyllic, relaxing setting. Ideal all year round, the kitchen satisfies all palates by focusing on the excellent quality of the ingredients chosen daily to ensure freshness and goodness at the same level. Kindness and friendliness at the highest levels. In short, a real treat !!!!

Location da favola, si mangia "coccolati" dal suono della natura e con una vista strepitosa delle colline che finisce nell'azzurro del mare. Il menù è fisso e cambia in base alle materie prime trovate dallo chef Ciro, tutte di ottima qualità e in parte provenienti dal loro orto! Piatti semplici dai sapori sorprendenti. Il conto meritatissimo! A gem in the center of Badolato to satisfy all the senses. Fairytale location, you can eat "pampered" by the sound of nature and with an amazing view of the hills that ends in the blue of the sea. The menu is fixed and changes according to the raw materials found by chef Ciro, all of excellent quality and partly from their garden! Simple dishes with surprising flavors. The well deserved bill!

Il locale si presenta in uno dei borghi più belli della Calabria, risulta arredato con gusto e l’atmosfera è davvero romantica. Tutto appare curato nel minimo dettaglio, dall’arredo al servizio passando per la cucina. Il titolare è una persona di rara cortesia e attento alle esigenze della clientela. La cucina, oltre ad essere di gusto, presenta un format particolare e gradevolissimo: vengono servite 5 portate a base di prodotti del giorno, il percorso culinario che ne deriva è indimenticabile. Assolutamente consigliato, ci tornerò il prima possibile con la mia ragazza. Unforgettable experience, in a terrific location, definitely in my top3. The restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful villages in Calabria, is tastefully furnished and the atmosphere is truly romantic. Everything appears with attention to the smallest detail, from the furniture to the service passing through the kitchen. The owner is a person of rare courtesy and attentive to customer needs. The cuisine, in addition to being tasteful, has a particular and very pleasant format: 5 courses are served based on products of the day, the resulting culinary journey is unforgettable. Totally recommended, I'll be back as soon as possible with my girlfriend.

D	Dave MacDow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before dining here I heard two complaints from another tourist, neither of which I agree; expensive and small portions. Too expensive? Ok. It's more than the many tourist pizza restaurants. However, you can't compare McDonalds with a fine dining. The food is of a very high standard and the bill was much less than I would have paid back home in England for a similar experience. Small portions? It is a set menu created each day by talented French chiefs. We were served five delicious courses and were very satisfied at the end of a very pleasant evening. Put that with the delightful service, beautiful location and local wines and you have a very enjoyable evening. The owner is proud of what he and the chef's have created. As they should be. I would go again.

Such great service, the people working there were so kind, the restaurant was like out of a movie and the food was super creative and delicious. Overall, amazing experience, perfect last day in Italy.

This place has character with a mystery and magical element that will leave you want for more! The food was out of this world with both host and chef interacting with the guests which is awesome, the five course menu has one hel of a surprise factor to it. Every day is a different menu set out by ( my opinion) a world class chef Ciro Piedimonte. The charisma of the owner Fabrizio Schiavone is second to none, where you are welcomed with a glass of red wine cultivated by himself! This is a massive MUST & WOW!
