M	Maurizio Spadea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria in campagna ma a due passi dal mare, dove i titolari marito e moglie hanno ricreato, praticamente sotto casa loro , un locale accogliente dove oltre alla cucina tipica calabrese si possono gustare degli ottimi piatti di pesce dall’antipasto di mare Chianti (nome della localia’di Badolato Marina dove e’ ubicata la trattoria) alla grigliata di mare. Il giardino e’ molto comodo anche per chi come noi possiede un cagnolino. L’accoglienza tipica calabrese salta subito all’occhio come l’impegno che i titolari mettono in campo, l’ottimo servizio e gli ingredienti di qualità utilizzati. Se non quest’anno ma sicuramente un altr’anno ritorneremo per gustare la vera cucina calabrese. Complimenti!! P.s. L’amaro fatto in casa e’ ovviamente offerto? We dined in this trattoria in the countryside but a stone's throw from the sea, where the owners husband and wife have recreated, practically under their house, a welcoming place where in addition to the typical Calabrian cuisine you can taste excellent fish dishes from the seafood appetizer Chianti (name of the localia'di Badolato Marina where the restaurant is located) to the sea grill. The garden is also very convenient for those like us who own a dog. The typical Calabrian welcome immediately catches the eye as is the commitment that the owners put in place, the excellent service and the quality ingredients used. If not this year but surely another year we will return to taste the real Calabrian cuisine. Compliments!! P.s. Homemade amaro is obviously offered?

Cucina eccezzzzzzzzzionale e servizio ottimo con la gradevole simpatia del proprietario...e ciliegina sulla torta è il loro amaro fatto in casa, consiglio quello al finocchietto e menta. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente Very welcoming place surrounded by a well-kept garden. Exceptional cuisine and excellent service with the pleasant friendliness of the owner ... and the icing on the cake is their homemade amaro, I recommend the one with fennel and mint. We will definitely be back

Rapporto qualità/prezzo più che bene. Consiglio Family run restaurant, or so it seems. Young and courteous staff, attention to requests and clean service. Value for money just fine. advise

È a conduzione familiare e molti ingredienti sono di produzione locale. Vale la pena assaggiare il fritto di pesce 'al metro': basterebbe da solo per una cena di 2 persone. È molto frequentato in estate quindi consiglio di prenotare con anticipo. Unico aspetto da migliorare: le attese tra un portata e l'altra. Farmhouse immersed in the Badolatese countryside, easily reachable from the Ionian state road. It is family owned and many of the ingredients are locally grown. It is worth tasting the fried fish 'by the meter': it would be enough on its own for a dinner for 2 people. It gets very busy in the summer so I recommend booking in advance. The only aspect to improve: the waits between one course and another.

I primi e secondi (sia mare che terra) sono tutti unici e fatto con curo e da apprezzare, proprio quello che stavamo cercando da giorni. Si capisce subito dal foto sotto. Non si trova niente di questo genere in questa zona (Badolato e intorno) e da aggiungere, prezzi onestissimi. Questo è molto importante. Grazie e a presto :) ........Siamo già tornati il giorno dopo. Devo aggiungere un paio di esempi come fanno tutto a perfezione, sia grande che piccole cose: 1. pomodoro nella insalata prodotto loro (in realtà tutte le verdure e carne sono prodotto loro) qualità altissima poi con basilico e tropea, 2. Primo con carciofi selvatici, generosissimo con i carciofi sulla pasta come uno vuole, 3. Tonno cotto a perfezione, 4. Piatti con spada e pistacchi meravigliosi, 5. Birra alla spina fredda fredda tempratura e qualità (gas) perfetta...posso andare avanti.... torniamo già domani per prendere quello che non avevamo provato. All really good, fresh, and nice staff and very quiet and pleasant environment in the countryside. The first and second courses (both sea and land) are all unique and made with care and to be appreciated, just what we have been looking for for days. It is immediately clear from the photo below. There is nothing of this kind in this area (Badolato and around) and to add, very honest prices. This is very important. Thanks and see you soon :) ........ We are already back the next day. I have to add a couple of examples how they do everything perfectly, both big and small: 1. tomato in the salad produced by them (in fact all the vegetables and meat are produced by them) very high quality then with basil and tropea, 2. Primo with artichokes wild, very generous with artichokes on pasta as you want, 3. Tuna cooked to perfection, 4. Dishes with sword and wonderful pistachios, 5. Cold draft beer cold tempered and perfect quality (gas) ... I can go on .. .. we come back tomorrow to take what we had not tried.

L	Lukasz Grzybowski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best authentic place in Calabria and I crossed the whole region. You can hide here in hot summer days and enjoy fresh beer, wine and delicious home made food. All vegetables are fresh from the garden. Wine made locally too.
