I did not know this church, perhaps just off the usual route to visit the city of Este: as soon as I entered I was delighted by the Monumental Organ that hides inside it, I never expected to find such a work of art in a little "famous" church.

L'attuale chiesa è dedicata a Santa Tecla vergine e martire ed è stata completamente ricostruita a seguito di forte terremoto che nel 1688 causò gravi danni alla struttura precedente. La grande pala d'altare raffigura Santa Tecle che invoca la liberazione d'Este dalla peste, opera del Tiepolo. Sulla sinistra dell'altare maggiore la cappella con la crocifissione un opera con statue in marmo e crocefisso in legno. Sulla destra la cappella del Santissimo Sacramento con notevoli sculture che rappresentano il trionfo dell'Eucaristia. Il secondo altare sulla destra è dedicato alla Beata Beatrice d'Este seconda patrona della città che riposa in questo luogo su una teca di cristallo. Monumento straordinario. The current church is dedicated to Santa Tecla virgin and martyr and was completely rebuilt following a strong earthquake which in 1688 caused serious damage to the previous structure. The large altarpiece depicts Santa Tecle invoking the liberation of Este from the plague, the work of Tiepolo. On the left of the main altar there is the chapel with the crucifixion, a work with marble statues and a wooden crucifix. On the right, the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament with notable sculptures representing the triumph of the Eucharist. The second altar on the right is dedicated to the Blessed Beatrice d'Este second patroness of the city who rests in this place on a crystal case. Extraordinary monument.
F	Francesca Zatti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Duomo dalle forme insolite, a pianta ovale con le cappelle ai lati convergenti tutte verso il centro, per cui, architettonicamente parlando, molto rare da vedere. Enorme pala del Tiepolo, eseguita appositamente curva per farla stare nella parete rotondeggiante dell'altare maggiore. La mensa dell'altare è uno splendido intarsio di marmi policromi, e le due parti a lato sono state aggiunte in un secondo momento ma dipinte, non in marmo. Illuminazione ottima, che restituisce tutto lo splendore delle decorazioni. Favoloso organo, fra i più grandi in Italia. Merita una visita guidata. Cathedral with unusual shapes, with an oval plan with the chapels on the sides all converging towards the center, therefore, architecturally speaking, very rare to see. Huge altarpiece by Tiepolo, made specially curved to make it fit into the rounded wall of the main altar. The altar table is a splendid inlay of polychrome marble, and the two parts on the side were added later but painted, not in marble. Excellent lighting, which returns all the splendor of the decorations. Fabulous organ, one of the largest in Italy. Worth a guided tour.

This is one of the cathedrals a have visited during my trip in Europe, it's full of masterpieces, and works of art. The architecture is impressive ant it's location is in the city center, the monument is very big, And dominates the neighborhood.
