★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella cattedrale di epoca romanica, perfettamente conservata. Suggestiva la posizione sopra un masso, senza nulla intorno. All'interno merita il crocifisso duecentesco dove c'è il volto di San Francesco (che ha predicato a San Leo)
Una sola nota...come si fa mettere in una chiesa del genere un pavimento in gress porcellanato effetto travertino??? Andrebbe bene per la sala da pranzo di un agriturismo...ma qui...BOCCIATO !
Per il resto il borgo, oltre chiaramente alla più famosa rocca, merita una visita
Beautiful cathedral from the Romanesque period, perfectly preserved. The position above a boulder is suggestive, with nothing around. Inside deserves the thirteenth-century crucifix where there is the face of St. Francis (who preached in San Leo)
One note ... how do you put a travertine-effect porcelain stoneware floor in a church like this ??? It would be fine for the dining room of a farmhouse ... but here ... BOCCIATO!
For the rest, the village, as well as clearly the most famous fortress, is worth a visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Kathedrale vom San Leon aus dem 12. Jahrhundert ist imposant und ehrfürchtig. Jeder Dtein erzählt von der Geschichte des Baus. Unbedingt die Säulenkapitelle betrachten. Die Krypta ist sehr geheimnisvoll und mystisch. Der Eintritt ist kostenfrei. Parkplätze sind ca 300m entfernt vorhanden .
The 12th-century Cathedral of San Leon is imposing and awe-inspiring. Each detail tells the story of the building. Be sure to look at the column capitals. The crypt is very mysterious and mystical. Admission is free. Parking spaces are available about 300m away.
