D	Daniele Manetta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vasto - Costruzione del Sec. XIII Rifatta nel seicento e nell'ottocento, conserva la facciata duecentesca, che costituisce un esempio di romanico transitorio. Nella lunetta appare un'iscrizione a cura dell'autore, Ruggero De Frengenis. Il campanile è barocco con balaustra in ferro battuto. L'interno a croce latina, fu rifatto nel 1890, in stile neogotico. Notevoli le vetrate, un bel trittico del '500 di Michele Greco da Valona ed alcune sculture lignee del '500. Oggi, 22 giugno Corpus Domini con processione. Vasto - Construction of the XIII century Remade in the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, it preserves the thirteenth century façade, which is an example of a transitional Romanesque. An inscription by the author, Ruggero De Frengenis, appears in the lunette. The bell tower is baroque with a wrought iron balustrade. Il luogo di culto ideale. Dedicata a San Giuseppe ed amata da tutti i vastesi When I go to mass on Sunday I totally immerse myself in prayer but I cannot fail to observe the beauty of this Church and the sacredness evoked by the beautiful decorations, paintings and statues that are found there. A	Alberto Barbero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suggestiva cattedrale risalente al XII secolo, distrutta, ad eccezione della facciata, nelle incursioni turche del 1566, riedificata ed ornata del campanile barocco nel 1738, venne poi completamente ricostruita in stile neogotico nel 1893. Vi sono conservate Interessanti opere d:arte. Evocative cathedral dating back to the 12th century, destroyed, with the exception of the facade, in the Turkish raids of 1566, rebuilt and adorned with the Baroque bell tower in 1738, was then completely rebuilt in neo-Gothic style in 1893. There are preserved interesting works of art.
A	Angelo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfettamente inserita nel contesto cittadino l'interessante cattedrale di San Giuseppe si trova in un'area ricca di cultura e molto attrattiva; precede infatti il famoso Palazzo D'avalos e lo splendido belvedere di Porta palazzo. Edificata nel XVIII secolo e completamente ricostruita nel 1893, la facciata conserva ancora l'antico fascino mentre più moderna appare all'interno. Molto interessanti a tal proposito i dipinti (vedi S. Maria della Misericordia), l'imponente organo e le vetrate. Perfectly inserted in the city context, the interesting Cathedral of San Giuseppe is located in an area rich in culture and very attractive; in fact it precedes the famous Palazzo D'avalos and the splendid viewpoint of Porta palazzo. Built in the 18th century and completely rebuilt in 1893, the facade still retains its old charm while more modern appears inside. Very interesting in this regard the paintings (see S. Maria della Misericordia), the imposing organ and the windows.
