An active and socially and politically active center, providing a space for participation, volunteering and dialogue! I recommend following up on the projects they undertake, such as distributing free vegetables on Saturdays, social assistance fund, language courses, study room and other projects that support political and social issues at the city level and at the level of international and global humanitarian issues. The place is also open and everyone is welcome (I decided to go this week for the first time for a meeting and it looks like a really great place to share with university students and more!)

Very interesting socio-cultural events: it would be a good thing if, on the occasion of the upcoming elections in Padua, Catai made his voice heard more incisively. I suggest the proposal of a further enhancement of the area around the Alicorno bastion. I know that a project called "Parco delle Acque" or something like that is in the works. This can only please me. The only discordant note is the anachronistic presence since 2013 of a dozen associations of former soldiers, all retired over 80, who occupy the "Madonna di Lourdes" building without paying a euro to the Municipality and who are stationed nostalgically inside it commemorating war events, organizing pathetic events with great fanfare flaunting medals and medals (including that of the first communion), funny headdresses, flags in the wind and propagating among young people the inscriptions to their now asphyxiated associations, all in a nationalistic and warmongering style: I it was reported that one of their bosses (who was quite proud on the occasion) bragged about a young high school student who would call him asking if, after he signed up, he could wear a military uniform. Padua is and MUST REMAIN, a city of PEACE, certainly not of militarist propaganda nor of nostalgic commemorations of wars. I know that in the past the company Rari Nantes Patavium had expressed its intention to have those premises in use: it could be an excellent solution in the general context of the new "Parco delle Acque". It would therefore be interesting to know what Catai's proposals are to build PEACE, sending those old nostalgics out of the building with a well-deserved kick in the butt.
