Very small. More like wall and tower with beautifull Lake view. Not much to See. Ticket is 5 euro. Worth to go only for a view.

Nice, old building, simple exhibition inside. Beautiful view on Garda lake. Seems to be not much popular among tourists. Big (paid, 2 EUR / hour) parking 100m from the castle.

Castell Scaligero is a place you can visit but you don't really 'have to'. It's good for a nice view and to learn something about local fishing traditions and the previous owners. If you take the ferry from Maderno to Torri you can go and see the castle at the same time, since it is located in Torri.

Castello Scaligero, in which is an ethnographical museum which shows exhibitions about freshwater fishing, the history of the place itself, and information about Olive trees. There are two areas inside that castle which were truly stunning, though: one of them being the Limonaia, a lemon garden which dates back to 1760. It’s truly impressive to see all these trees among the old walls. The other was the view from the tower and the walls. It’s a rather steep climb, and you have to really mind your head once, but the view from the top is definitely worth it. Sadly we had a lot of fog that day, but I can imagine that the view must be truly stunning with clear skies.
