Oggi era il 2 giorno pubblicizzato per la fitta fioritura di camelie ma purtroppo la cosa è stata deludente. Bellissime e interessanti tutte le altre forme botaniche 4.2022 I only gave 3 stars to a place that deserves 5. The small castle and the park are really beautiful the problem is the camellias. Today was the 2nd day advertised for the dense flowering of camellias but sadly it was disappointing. All the other botanical forms are beautiful and interesting

Ci torno sempre volentieri! L'esterno è un grande giardino ricco di Piante secolari e non visibili di solito, tipo bambu' giganti, sequoia, cedro rosso e contro il muretto tante piante antiche di camelie...infine un ottimo bar con dehor per riposarsi gustando un ottimo caffè con un dolcetto o pranzando, merita sicuramente una visita prolungata! Organizzazione e comunicazione efficaci.Il castello è sede di mostre interessanti, c'è un bel punto vendita di gadgets,libri e maglie. Al termine del giro, si rientra nella corte del castello dove, entrando nelle varie stanze, ho rivissuto la vita di mio nonno contadino. La stalla, la cucina, le scarpe di legno, gli attrezzi da lavoro di un tempo. Una grande meditazione su come si viveva un tempo. Oltre, un bar con dehor ed ombrelloni molto elegante con glicini in fiore e bellissima atmosfera. Consiglio per chi ha piacere di passare una giornata alternativa e fare anche un tuffo nel passato. Zone Pic nic sia sotto agli alberi su panchine e tavoli in pietra che all'interno della corte con tavolini e ombrelloni. Posto tranquillo in cui gli studenti universitari vanno a studiare, approfittando del silenzio. Alberi centenari altissimi. Tutto molto curato. La guida disponibilissima e preparata. Molto interessante la mostra/progetto "oltre il giardino" l'abbecedario di Paolo Pejrone, che finirà il 15 maggio 2022. Tratto dal volantino:" La mostra si sviluppa intorno al concetto di abbecedario. In rigoroso dis-ordine alfabetico, per imparare a leggere il giardino e i temi che rappresentano la sfida contemporanea nel rapporto tra uomo e ambiente...."
