Itinerario importante anche se si pensa che un pezzo di storia medioevale è ancora presente. Tutto dipende dai proprietari, che hanno permesso per qualche decennio di "denudar le fondamenta". Non si capisce perché il castello e le due torri sono, come dice un poeta, "mute di remote imprese" e "piangono" per il loro abbandono, tanto che desidererebbero stare "in altro loco" più degno. I ruderi del castello mimetizzati nel verde hanno un fascino particolare....MA: versa in totale stato di abbandono. I segni dell’inciviltà umana sono ben visibili sia sulle pareti delle stanze del castello, rovinando quindi gli affreschi bellissimi, sia nei posti più scuri che sono piccole discariche piene di bottiglie di plastica, piatti e lattine. Un po’ di manutenzione valorizzerebbe tanto questo posto. Altra nota dolente, le indicazioni per raggiungerlo sono totalmente assenti. Il sentiero comunque è molto pulito, a volte i rovi e l’erba alta prendono il sopravvento. Un po’ faticoso, essendo tutto in salita, ma vale la pena To visit at least once.
