Lasciando l'auto nella piazzetta di Villabruna, frazione di Feltre si può percorrere una passeggiata ad anello e ammirare l'edificio dall' esterno. Per visitarla internamente bisogna contattare i proprietari. Beautiful private historical residence not very touristy, located in the Belluno area. Worth a walk. Nessun orpello inutile, c'è il rigore della montagna scritto sulle mura. Da informazioni raccolte gli interni sono stati restaurati dagli attenti proprietari, la famiglia Velluti, noti e qualificati restauratori che hanno arredato la dimora con mobili di varie epoche. Il maniero faceva parte di un organizzato sistema difensivo dei Vescovi di Feltre e Belluno nel luogo dove il torrente Stièn incontra il torrente Caorame. La struttura conserva ancora oggi alcune parti altomedievali, del XII secolo, ed era un tempo circondata da un profondo fossato attraversato da un ponte levatoio. From information gathered, the interiors have been restored by the attentive owners, the Velluti family, well-known and qualified restorers who have furnished the house with furniture from various eras. The manor was part of an organized defensive system of the Bishops of Feltre and Belluno in the place where the Stièn stream meets the Caorame stream. The structure still retains some early medieval parts, from the 12th century, and was once surrounded by a deep moat crossed by a drawbridge.
