★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sensazione particolare mentre ci si inerpica sulla stradina che conduce al Castello che sovrasta il caratteristico borgo. Osservandolo da un certa prospettiva, grazie alla sua forma esterna con la torre appare come la sezione della prora/prua di una mastodontica nave, che mi da conferma del suo disarmo, nell'intento di visitarlo. Meritevoli di elogio i privati che hanno valorizzato quota parte dello stesso con un restauro conservativo che lo mette in risalto, ma dispiace per la parte comune che risultava trascurata e chiusa. Peccato abbandonare le testimonianze della nostra storia e cultura che rendono il nostro paese unico al mondo.

Looking at it from a certain perspective, thanks to its external shape with the tower, it appears as the section of the prow / prow of a mammoth ship, which confirms my disarmament, in order to visit it. Worthy of praise are the private individuals who have valorised part of it with a conservative restoration that highlights it, but is sorry for the common part that was neglected and closed. It's a shame to abandon the testimonies of our history and culture that make our country unique in the world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto difficilmente raggiungibile in auto, specialmente se lunga la macchina,consiglio vivamente di lasciare la macchina sulla via affianco alla villa comunale, poi una volta raggiunti alle porte sorpresa: il castello è chiuso, ospitando un b&b, non c'è nessuno per aprire (io sono andato domenica pomeriggio alle 16.15), una camminata persa. Sicuramente sarà bellissimo, ho visto foto di altri utenti, però, dai, onestamente un vero peccato tenere chiusa una struttura del genere...
Place difficult to reach by car, especially if the car is long, I highly recommend leaving the car on the street next to the municipal villa, then once you reach the door, surprise: the castle is closed, hosting a b & b, there is no one to open ( I went Sunday afternoon at 4.15pm, a lost walk. Surely it will be beautiful, I saw photos of other users, however, come on, honestly a real shame to keep such a structure closed ...

Her castle is a small jewel in a territory that is humble, sometimes harsh, beautiful and precious. We are dreaming to come back and we suggest this place to any beauty addicted traveller ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed Cacurri as my wife and brother in law were looking for information on their great grandmother. The castle was simply marvelous. The owner and staff were gracious. The bedrooms and bathrooms were gigantic, the bed very comfortable, and the hot water hot. The castle and rooms were beautifully decorated. My only advice is not to use car navigation and use the directions on the website.
