Peccato che per raggiungerlo bisogna risalire un sentiero tenuto malissimo. Le indicazioni sono vecchie e cadenti. All'inizio del sentiero nulla indica se è visitabile o meno. Solo una volta giunti alla porta di accesso ci sono gli orari. Teniamo conto che al suo interno sono transitati tra gli altri: Luigi XII Re di Francia nel 1506, Francesco I Re di Francia dopo la sconfitta nella battaglia di Pavia nella notte tra il 23 e il 24 maggio 1525, Carlo V Imperatore del Sacro Romano Impero, Filippo II di Spagna nel 1551. Если хотите точно попасть внутрь - площадь внутри замка - стоит уточнить часы и дни работы на сайте. Beautiful place, picturesque. Silence. The castle, apparently, has a turbulent history, visible masonry of different periods. If you want to get inside exactly - the area inside the castle - you should check the hours and days of work on the site.

Sul sentiero diversi cavi elettrici volanti fanno pessima mostra di quanta approssimazione ci possa essere nel creare un impianto di illuminazione. Parcheggio vicino e percorrenza di circa 15 minuti per raggiungere i ruderi. visitabile interamente solo alla domenica con visita guidata e a pagamento. ruins heavily remodeled and can be visited freely only in the external perimeter. c	channel max on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono i resti,visibili anche dall'autostrada A7,di un antico castello, che dall'alto, controllava la strada che collegava la Valle Scrivia, con il feudo genovese di Voltaggio. Costruito forse nell'XI secolo, fu spesso conteso tra i nobili Spinola ed i Doria. Espugnato dalle truppe milanesi, in guerra con Genova, ritornò agli Spinola che, dal seicento, non lo abitaronono più. Nella sua storia, ha anche ospitato tra le sue mura anche diversi Re di Francia. Oggi rimangono parti delle mura, un'antica torre conica e gli alloggi della guarnigione. Ospita un museo sulla vita del medioevo, con visita guidata al costo di 4 euro ( solo d'estate, di domenica, dalle 10 alle 17.30). Si raggiunge attraverso il bosco, in 15 minuti, con un antico sentiero che parte dalla via principale del borgo. Il sentiero si chiama Rian'na. Gli altri percorsi sono molto più complicati e faticosi.
