★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alberto and the team at Castello del Trebbio are magnificent. We stayed the weekend and also participated in the wine tour/tasting and the pasta cooking class with dinner. Alberto led us on what has been our favorite cellar tours and tastings, after having done many throughout France. He provides great learnings on the wine, combined with the history of the castello and the family. Truly a treat. Chef is - delight who helped us craft a great dinner with wine. It was a fun learning, with just the right amount of effort required to capture attention but not have to be too heavy into the learning. Spending time cooking with him was a great way to spend an evening. The apartments are chic and rustic, with stunning views overlooking the castello and orchards. Overall, I’d highly recommend for a weekend away, or even better a week escape with friends or family. Be sure to get a checked bag, or two, for the wine you’ll want to bring on your flight home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just had a cellar tour, cooking class and a lunch with wine tasting. The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The Castle and the surroundings are stunning. The wine was great. I can highly recommend this place!! A must see in Tuscany.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a absolutely magical place. It was my second stay here and makes me teary to leave. It is like a Tuscan dream coming true with the nature, sunsets and a dreamy accommodation. And last but not least, despite of away from the city noise and in the middle of nowhere, you have a superb restaurant in the castle looking down the hill. An almost Michelin worthy restaurant in basically your backyard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible! This is such a picturesque castello in the heart of Tuscany.
The wine tour was the best wine tour we’ve been on. We got to taste several fantastic wines in multiple wine cellars while learning about the history of the castello.
The cooking course is also a must do. We made pasta from scratch and ate it for dinner. Now I just need to the same at home.
The villas are wonderful and relaxing. Ours is a renovated 600 year old farm house, the perfect mix of historic charm and modern amenities.
Already planning when to come back with the rest of the family!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just had our wedding at this incredible venue and we don't have enough words to share just how amazing it was!
The manager Alberto is AMAZING. He made our whole experience at the castle including the wedding so perfect. He is friendly, funny, and handled every single one of our questions and requests quickly and with professionalism. He genuinely made time for every single one of our guests and nothing was too difficult.
For our welcome dinner we did the castle tour for 40 people he Alberto was engaging and gave a very insightful history to the venue. The wine cellar tour also included a buffet dinner that was fabulous, and a short wine tasting experience. The lunch time pasta cooking class was so much fun and everyone left smiling.
Sabrina the restaurant manager is incredible, and dealt with all of our requests and changes expertly. The food at the restaurant is excellent, from the take away lasagnas, to the 8 course wedding dinner, to the morning after breakfast!
The entire team are fantastic, and our wedding went flawlessly. Thank you Alberto and the Castello Del Trebbio team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castello del Trebbio is the perfect place to spend your time in Tuscany. The hospitality is excellent (thank you Alberto to make our stay unforgettable!!!!) and the only thing that topped the kindness of the hosts were the views :)
There are many activities to do at the Castle as well. We truly enjoyed the cooking class with the Castle Chef and the tour of the cellars with wine tasting. You can also dine at the restaurant on site which has an excellent menu.
All the staff is extremely helpful, you can walk around all the ground of the castle and they also shown us interesting hiking trails nearby.
The accommodations are extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need to cook your meals.
A perfect experience highly recommended to anyone looking to spend some time in one of the most beautiful areas in Italy.
We will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the masterchef experience at Castello del Trebbio, it included a tour through the cellars of the castle, wine tasting, and the story of the family living there, very good english spoken by Rebecca. With the cooking we had a very friendly chef explaining us everything in detail. Why and how to cook, we made our own pasta, a very delicious chicken meal, small bites and a cake as dessert. After the cooking you get time to eat all the delicious meals with wines of the land. The scenery, the kindness of everyone and beautyness of the place makes it a simply 5 star rating. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To say this place is perfect, I would be lying, simply because nothing is. But everything about it is so rewarding, that even if you find something you may not like, it will be just washed away almost immediately. That is the effect of Castello Del Trebbio - the beautiful Tuscan scenery, olive groves, vineyards, cypress trees, sun, fantastic food and wine.
We stayed in a split-level apartment in a separate house on the hill, a few hundred meters from the reception and the castle itself. This was the only apartment in the house. There is a nice swimming pool next to the house, shared with another similar house with 2 more apartments. The apartment is well equipped, very clean, and very comfortable, with everything you need. There are two spacious, modern bathrooms in the apartment. The castle offers wine tasting. And there is a fantastic restaurant with wonderful terrace. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful.
