★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tra i castelli più belli della Calabria, fu costruito nella seconda metà del XI secolo per volere di Ruggiero il Normanno.Nel corso dei secoli molte famiglie nobili si successero nel possesso del Castello.
Purtroppo visto lo stato di decadenza il Castello non è visitabile, però merita di essere visto, dalla località si gode una bella vista.
 Among the most beautiful castles in Calabria, it was built in the second half of the 11th century at the behest of Ruggiero the Norman. Over the centuries, many noble families took possession of the Castle.
Unfortunately, given the state of decadence, the Castle cannot be visited, but it deserves to be seen, from the town you can enjoy a beautiful view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Belvedere Marittimo è un grazioso borgo panoramico sulla Riviera dei Cedri. Oltre alla vista, l'atrazione più interessante potrebbe essere il Castelo Aragonese. Diciamo porebbe in quanto è lasciato a se stesso e non è visitabile.
Un vero peccato.

Belvedere Marittimo is a lovely panoramic village on the Riviera dei Cedri. Besides the view, the most interesting attraction might be the Castelo Aragonese. We say porebbe as it is left to itself and cannot be visited.
Such a pity.

Beautiful castle located in a wonderful village, the only flaw is the state of abandonment in which it pours that does not allow the visit inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ah que lugar incrível! Lá de cima a vista é incrível do mar e das montanhas. Precisa subir de carro. O castelo é fechado mas tem placas.com informações a seu respeito. Vale muito a pena subir, respirar o ar lá de cima e se encantar.com a vista magnífica.
Oh what an amazing place! From up there, the view is incredible of the sea and mountains. You need to go up by car. The castle is closed but has signs with information about it. It's really worth climbing, breathing the air from above and being enchanted by the magnificent view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due stelle sarebbero solo per incoraggiamento, visto che, arrivarci non è semplicissimo (indicazioni scarse o inesistenti), non è visitabile e dall'esterno appare in pessime condizioni di manutenzione. Ad oggi non vale il tempo che si perde per raggiungerlo data la concorrenza con altri siti tenuti e valutati in maniera migliore.
Two stars would be only for encouragement, since getting there is not very easy (little or no information), it cannot be visited and from the outside it appears in poor maintenance conditions. To date, it is not worth the time that is lost to reach it given the competition with other sites that are kept and evaluated in a better way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and charming, typical mediterranean small town on a mountain. If you're a car lover be prepared to have some treat for many a stray cat in this place, but don't expect they will let you come too close.
