★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un luogo davvero particolare, di nicchia. Nel cuore della valle del Savuto, nota per gli uliveti e i vitigni autoctoni. Il castello si trova a Cleto e rappresenta un fantastico esempio di fortificazione calabrese, fortunatamente ancora in parte integra. L'area si presta ad eventi, anche utilizzando le piccole sale al chiuso. Ampissimo spazio e un affaccio sulla valle davvero spettacolare.
Se si è in zona vale la pena farci un salto, anche solo per assaporare una delle valli più significative del Tirreno Cosentino.
A very special, niche place. In the heart of the Savuto valley, known for its olive groves and native grape varieties. The castle is located in Cleto and represents a fantastic example of Calabrese fortification, fortunately still partially intact. The area lends itself to events, even using the small indoor rooms. Very large space and a truly spectacular view of the valley.
If you are in the area it is worth taking a trip, even just to enjoy one of the most significant valleys of the Tirreno Cosentino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrivati a Savuto (fraz. di Cleto) consigliamo di lasciare la macchina nella piazzetta dove si trova il bar. È proprio infatti al bar che si paga il tkt di ingresso (2€ cadauno) e si ritirano le chiavi di ingresso al castello. La passeggiate tra le vie di Savuto, 10 minuti massimo, regalano una bella vista sulla vallata. Passeggiata con bimbo.
Once in Savuto (hamlet of Cleto) we recommend leaving the car in the square where the bar is located. It is in fact at the bar that you pay the entrance fee (€ 2 each) and you collect the keys to the castle. The walks through the streets of Savuto, 10 minutes maximum, offer a beautiful view over the valley. Walk with child.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di Savuto è stato restaurato e reso fruibile al pubblico da qualche anno. Arrivati nella piazza principale del borgo bisogna rivolgersi al bar per ricevere le chiavi. Il Castello è molto bello, subito dopo l'ingresso troverete ai lati le antiche stalle e scuderie passando sotto un lungo porticato che conduce alle prigioni femminili in fondo, dalla torre di destra dominerete sulla valle del Savuto mentre sul pianoro di sinistra avrete l'intera vista sulla Valle di Savuto e Cleto. La Torre finale era un antico carcere maschile attualmente inaccessibile.
il castello e l'intero borgo di Savuto meritano una visita
