La prima parte per le famigliole non può mancare, la seconda, andando più a sinistra, avendo di fronte il mare, si arriva alla spiaggia nudista naturista, , non ufficiale, o a quello che vi rimane: il problema fondamentale è che il comune di Castellaneta non la riconosce come tale e non la pulisce mantenendo ammassi di plastica come fossero sculture e l'inciviltà di alcuni bagnanti contribuisce al suo degrado. È un vero peccato che il moralismo prevalga su un tipo di turismo, il naturismo e nudismo, che porta soldi in europa e in tutte le regioni d'Italia che lo consentono. L'ultima a istituire spiagge naturiste e nudiste è stata la Sardegna, capendone il potenziale valore economico e ne sta cogliendo i frutti, come la vicina Corsica, ma siamo in Italia e il rispetto per i naturisti che pagano le tasse e contribuiscono all'economia non esiste. Informarsi su questa filosofia di vita su internet prima di puntare il dito e pensare che non siamo tutti uguali e da spot televisivo: rispettare gli spazi degli altri è democrazia! Il suo bacino d'utenza è nettamente inferiore alla stazione ferroviaria di Castellaneta Città posta sulla Bari-Taranto..comunque la località di Castellaneta Marina è a dir poco magnifica e luogo di vacanza e relax.
