It is a beautiful Castle .... I have many memories of when I was a child, too bad it cannot be visited because it is private.

The park garden is very nice and suggestive. Unfortunately, only open on some rare occasions. It would be nice also a guided tour inside the manor. Who knows

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terlago è un borgo caratteristico, dove il castello ( oggi proprietà privata e non visitabile) fa da protagonista. Tre stelle solo perché non posso visitare il castello ?. Si può passeggiare lungo le viuzze del paese e lungo le mure del castello per ammirare qualche scorcio. Il castello domina il paese, fu costruito a scopo difensivo e controllava gli spostamenti fra la valle del Sarca e la Valle di Non. Fu ricostruito nel 1700 a seguito di un attacco e oggi la parte piu antica del castello sono le due torri. La leggenda narra che fra le stanze del castello si aggiri il fantasma di una contessa che custodisce un tesoro molto prezioso.
Terlago is a characteristic village, where the castle (now private property and not open to visitors) is the protagonist. Three stars just because I can't visit the castle ?. You can walk along the narrow streets of the town and along the walls of the castle to admire some glimpses. The castle dominates the town, was built for defensive purposes and controlled the movements between the Sarca valley and the Non valley. It was rebuilt in 1700 following an attack and today the oldest part of the castle are the two towers. Legend has it that among the rooms of the castle the ghost of a countess wanders who guards a very precious treasure.
