★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Assolutamente da vedere.....un capolavoro.....consiglio la passeggiata nel bosco per arrivare alla vista delle splendide fontane.....ingresso a soli 5 euro....bambini e ragazzi fino ai 18 anni gratis....
Absolutely to see ..... a masterpiece ..... I recommend a walk in the woods to get to the view of the splendid fountains ..... admission for only 5 euros .... children up to 18 years free. ...

È molto bella, suggestiva, arricchita da grandi statue che delimitano un bel giardino all'italiana, scalinate, scivoli d'acqua, fontane, nicchie per statue, insomma qualcosa di raffinata arte e gusto.
Casina del pleasure or hunting lodge, is a monumental complex within the park of Villa Farnese. It is very beautiful, evocative, enriched by large statues that surround a beautiful Italian garden, stairways, water slides, fountains, niches for statues, in short, something of refined art and taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situata all'interno del percorso di visita di villa farnese (vedi recensione), la casina del piacere con la sue fontane le sue sculture e i suoi giardini è un'autentica meraviglia immersa nel verde. Sebbene le fontane fossero in manutenzione si resta comunque ammaliati dalla sua bellezza.
Located within the visit path of villa Farnese (see review), the little house of pleasure with its fountains, its sculptures and its gardens is an authentic wonder surrounded by greenery. Although the fountains were under maintenance, you are still bewitched by its beauty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the Casina “small house” is closed to the public, the surrounding well manicured labyrinth garden, statues, staircase and (non-functional) fountains are much more beautiful to see. I could imagine the Cardinal Farnese coming to visit his women in this “House of Pleasure.” His kept women had an separate entrance in the rear of the building away from the main villa. I created a scene in my mind where the Cardinal would arrive by horse before ascending the staircase while water flowing through the phallic dolphin fountain foreshadowed his erection and later release of fluid. The woman awaiting his Highness on the balcony in a flowing white gown to meet him. The satyr sculptures here announce that there is no shame. It’s well worth a visit to think on the history of excess and power and what may go on in the present day in secret.
