★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La caserma Garibaldi è un edificio storico della Città di Napoli che si trova giusto all'angolo tra via Foria (limite quartiere San Lorenzo) e via Cesare Rosaroll. La struttura fu realizzata nella metà del XIX secolo. Sorge infatti sul convento degli agostiniani di San Giovanni a Carbonara. L'edificio, come si vede oggi, accoglie anche due torri rinascimentali. All'interno della Caserma, durante il periodo dei Borbone, si frequentava la scuola militare, poi inseguito ha ospitato anche alcunni reparti delle Forze Armate (dopo l'unità d'Italia). Oggi la Caserma Garibaldi è sede dell'Ufficio del Giudice di Pace di Napoli.
The Garibaldi barracks is a historic building in the city of Naples located right on the corner between via Foria (limit of the San Lorenzo district) and via Cesare Rosaroll. The structure was built in the mid 19th century. In fact, it stands on the convent of the Augustinians of San Giovanni a Carbonara. The building, as seen today, also houses two Renaissance towers. Inside the barracks, during the Bourbon period, the military school was attended, then later it also hosted some departments of the Armed Forces (after the unification of Italy). Today the Garibaldi Barracks is the seat of the Office of the Justice of the Peace of Naples.
