★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il distretto militare della città capoluogo era un tempo la mèta di tutti i giovani che sarebbero poi stati chiamati a svolgere il servizio di leva.
Arrivavano da tutte le città e i paesi della Calabria.
Intorno c'era tanta movimento, tanti locali e bar erano pieni di giovani e militari nelle ore dei pasti.
Oggi funzionante solo a livello di uffici, se non fosse per la musica della levata e dell'ammaina bandiera ci si dimenticherebbe che ci sia..........
Togliere il servizio di leva??? A mio modo di pensare, 1 grande errore.
Ps nelle foto è visibile la piazza d'armi dalla ghiacciaia.
